How to back up a Drupal website?

Regular backups are automatically taken in Drupal Clusters. For detailed information about how to back up your website manually, please find steps below:

1. Find the target Drupal deployment

Log in to the Control Panel and locate your target deployment from all deployments listed.

2. Navigate to the Snapshots page

Click on “Snapshots”tab, and then you will find the “TAKE SNAPSHOT” button.

3. Back up your Drupal site

Click on "TAKE SNAPSHOT". A confirmation box will be popped up after that. You are free to rename the backup or not. Click on "SAVE" then to start the backup process. You can get your backup in seconds after that.

How to Restore a Drupal website Backup?

In Drupal Clusters, free Drupal website restoration is available. To restore your data on Drupal website instance from a selected backup, please follow these steps:

1. Find your target Drupal deployment

Log in to the Control Panel and locate your target deployment from all deployments listed.

2. Locate your backup file

Click on "Snapshots" tab to view previous backups. Find the one you want to restore.

3. Restore your data

Choose the a backup file and click on “Restore” icon in the end, then a confirmation box will be popped up. The operation cannot be undone, please make sure you want to do this. Click on "CONFIRM" to start the process. It will not take you long to finish the restoration.
